
However, PBY and Popper can't share the same metadata like PBX and PBY can. You should know that there is no problem to install both. Main reason is that I came from PBX and that my custom script uses xml files and I have other "scripts" that rely on my naming scheme. Just have a read-up on the excellent documentation both front-ends give you. But, if you are starting more or less from scratch I don't think you find any of them being a problem. My syntax however is very different from naming tables etc. I must admit, I haven't used PinballY' way of doing it since I created a custom script to add tables with a long time ago using many of the features that PinballY now can give you.
